The City of Helsinki awarded Kenno Tech the contract to manufacture the frame for a tourist info kiosk.
The kiosk has now been commissioned and was in August serving tourists at Helsinki´s main market square next to the renowned Havis Amanda statue.
The laser welded stainless steel sandwich frame is sandblasted and coated with graffiti resistant varnish. The kiosk is highly presentable thanks to the dimensional accuracy of laser welded structures and the straightness of sandwich elements. As the kiosk is meant to be moved between locations, the light weight of its sandwich elements is a distinct advantage.
